Frank Chiappone

Frank Chiappone is a former sports anchor/reporter at KOMO-TV in Seattle where he once won an Emmy Award for synchronized swimming although he didn’t actually synch or swim. Now at Microsoft, he helps teachers and students do great things using technology in their classrooms.  Frank is the co-host of the Leading Innovation podcast where he puts a professional sheen on the program. Frank is our roving host, available to clients who want to produce a podcast that is ready for primetime.

Errol St. Clair Smith

Errol St. Clair Smith is an 18-year veteran of the media industry. For three years, Errol was a popular radio talk show host at KIEV in Los Angeles, followed by seven years as a business reporter at KTLA television in Hollywood. Errol co-hosted the Emmy Award-winning program Life and Times on PBS and has four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award to his credit. Errol has written pieces for the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and Reason Magazine.

Carl Hooker

Carl Hooker is the uniquely talented host of the ISTE Learning Unleashed podcast and the groundbreaking Forward to Different podcast. Carl's background in education distinguishes him in the education podcast world. Carl has been a part of the robust shift toward increased technology integration in education for over a decade.  He has been a teacher, a technology coach, a school administrator, and the Director of Innovation & Digital Learning in the Eanes Independent School District. Constantly innovating, he is known as the “Godfather” of the learning festival LearnFestATX -- which has grown into a global phenomenon. Carl authored a six-part book series titled Mobile Learning Mindset and is highly sought after by Ed Tech start-up companies seeking guidance on reaching the education community. 

Jimmy Minichello

Jimmy Minichello is the director of communications and public relations for AASA, The School Superintendents Association in Alexandria, Va. AASA is a professional organization of more than 13,000 education leaders in the U.S. and throughout the world. Jimmy oversees all public relations activities and also provides photography and videography on behalf of the organization. Prior to joining AASA, Jimmy served as the media relations director with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Jimmy began his career as a broadcast news and sports anchor/reporter and held positions at local radio stations throughout the country and United Press International in Washington, D.C.

Jeannette Smith

Jeannette Smith is the senior producer at BAM Radio Network. Over the past 10 years, she has produced thousands of podcast episodes for the leading national education associations including the American Association of School Administrators (AASA), the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), the American Society of Curriculum Developers (ASCD), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Jeannette also produces the Classroom Q & A podcast for Education Week Teacher. Jeannette leads the production process from planning to recording and post-production.

Nelson Davis

Nelson Davis is a radio and television veteran who has received over thirty awards including four Emmy Awards for Best Public Affairs series. Nelson honed his television skills with a variety of projects, freelancing as a host and producer in Los Angeles. Nelson eventually landed a position at the NBC Television Network. At NBC for 4 years, he moved from Broadcast Standards to Director of Daytime Programming for the network. Nelson has passion, knowledge, and experience in all levels of television and radio production and is available for a variety of client services, including voice-over, hosting, and production planning and management.

Matt Ember

Matt Ember's superpower is entertainment. Matt is a well-established writer/producer for television and film projects in Hollywood. His screen credits include work on popular television series and feature films, including the hits Step by Step, Grace Under Fire, The Drew Carey Show, The Norm Show, Titus and Becker, Failure to Launch (2006), Get Smart (2008), Epic (2013), Home (2015), and The War with Grandpa (2020). Matt returned to television in 2018, consulting on The Conners on ABC for three seasons. He is now writing the long-awaited sequel to Home, coming to Netflix soon. Matt's skill set includes writing, pre-production, production, and post-production supervision. Adding entertainment value to a podcast increases its appeal and shareability.
